Welcome to Pittsburgh Born Photography! We are a dynamic duo photographer partnership that specializes in birth photography, birth films, fresh 48's, milk bath maternity and newborn sessions. We are a bit quirky, silly, and try not to take ourselves too seriously. We both have a deep passion for empowering families through the birth process and capturing the most pivotal moments in your life. We are experts in all things birth photography and doula related because we have specialized, certified and studied this art for years. You will not find many people in the Pittsburgh area that have more experience than us in what we do!
Our award winning work has been featured in both national and international news outlets several times including: The Stir, Baby Center, Birth Becomes Her, Birth Without Fear, Mama Natural, Plus Sized Birth, our local Midwife Center and much more.
We welcome families of all races, orientation, and every birth plan and philosophy imaginable in the Pittsburgh area: from home birth to the hospital or birth center, low risk and high risk pregnancies - including scheduled cesarean births, VBAC and HBAC supporters, surrogacy births, LGBTQ friendly, birth trauma survivors, rainbow babies, and many more families we have and will work with.
