July! Bring me all the July summer goodness all year round! We camped, my girls and I took our annual week long ‘girls trip’ back home to Lancaster, PA, we experienced our first ‘open streets’ in Pittsburgh which was AMAZING, hosted our annual block party, my kid perfected underwater swimming AND Ella and I got to spend 3 awesome days at a little farmers day camp together. We just had good ole’ American summer fun and it was so good.

The kids and I were a tiny bit homesick once July came around. We enjoyed the 4th of July holiday in my tiny rural town. The kids thought it was the best 4th of July ever. It was! We started making our way home to Pittsburgh and got to make a quick visit to Denver. I was a bit emotional about the short visit. I was so happy to see it again and so sad that we didn’t live there anymore… I took my kids to our old apartment in Golden where my little girl was born. Even though my son wasn’t born inside the actual apartment like my girl, it was the home he came to from the hospital and lived for the first 3 years of his life. I’m sure they didn’t care or think too much about it, but it was fun for me to remember some of those wonderful memories. We were so happy make to finally make it back home and start our Pittsburgh Summer. I love that we bypassed the entire rainy season!!!
